Country’s stock market witnessed minor fall in its price indices on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.
DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 2.16 points only to stand at 4619.51 at the close of day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 129051 with volume of transactions at Tk 5645.42 million.
Of the issues traded, 125 advanced, 147 declined and 46 remained unchanged.
BSRM Steel topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 384.73 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were Activefine, Bxpharma, Ifadautos, Amanfeed, Squrpharma, Saifpower, Kpcl, Farchem and Rsrmsteel.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8596.63 by dropping over 0.23points.
Out of the issues traded, 96 gained, 120 declined and 29 remained unchanged.
