Dhaka stocks closed mixed amid volatility on Wednesday after sharp rise in the previous session.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DSEX index added 6 points or 0.08 per cent to close at 7,011. Shariah-based DSES index slipped 1 point or 0.06 per cent to 1,481, while the blue-chip index DS30 lost 17 points or 0.65 per cent to 2,644.
Out of the 375 issues traded, 180 advanced, 166 declined, and 29 remained unchanged.
