Stocks break 3-day gaining streak

Stock markets closed on Tuesday down after breaking a rally that continued at both Dhaka and Chittagong stock exchanges in the past three sessions in a row.
The markets were upbeat in the last three-day, taking the broader index at the prime bourse up at close of every trading session since September 16.
The broader index of DSEX of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) finished the session 37.25 points down at 6,281.87, with the DSES and the DS30 closing in red at 1,381.87 and at 2,268.73 respectively.
Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also closed in red when its major index CASPI finishing 109.75 points down at 19,439.15.
At DSE, 164 securities closed lower against 132 gaining ones. Similarly, 112 issues incurred loss and 104 closed higher at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) among the day’s 242 traded issues.
