All the branches of Star Cineplex will remain closed from April 5 to 11 as per the government’s instruction
of closing malls during the countrywide lockdown. Cineplex authorities will announce the re-opening dates soon. Cineplex authorities have expressed their sincere apologies to the audience for the temporary closure.
The hall authorities ensured last year that they have taken all the proper safety measures such as maintaining proper distance and ensuring that all the audience wears masks all times in the halls.
Last year the cinema hall was closed due to government restriction on opening up cinema halls. The fans were excited when Star Cineplex reopened its gate on October 23 in 2020.
Bangladesh returns to lockdown from April 5 as the government on Saturday announced as a means to curb the dangerous surge in Covid-19 cases.
