The three-day “Star Ceramic & RAK Paint Cup Golf Tournament-2017” kicked off at a colourful ceremony held today on the Golf ground of Rangpur Cantonment in the city.
The tournament is being sponsored by Star Ceramic and RAK Paint Group, a press release of Rangpur Gold Club (RGC) said.
More than 100 contestants of different Golf Clubs from across the country are participating in the male, female, junior and sub-junior groups of the three-day meet.
General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 66 Infantry Division, Rangpur Area Commander and President of RGC Major General Md Masud Razzaque inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest.
Managing Director of RAK Paint Kamar Uz Zaman, Managing Director of Star Ceramic Syed Ali Abdullah Zami, officials of RAK Paint and Star Ceramic Group were present, among others, on the occasion.
