SSC sub centre shifted suddenly in Jashore

Examinees has to suffer as Nawapara Pilot Girls’ School SSC sub centre was shifted suddenly by the local authority without informing the education board after taking first two examinations. All the rest examinations, including yesterday’s (Tuesday) English first paper examination was held at Nawapara Shankarpasha Secondary High School centre and Nawapara Model Secondary School extended centre , said Md Nuruzzaman, assistant secretary, examination centre and also headmaster of the school.
He told that Nawapara Pilot Girls’ School has been using as SSC sub examination centre since 1980. A total of 456 students of several schools were taking part at the SSC examination this year. Bangla first paper and Bangla second paper examinations were already held there.
Abhaynagar upazila nirbahi officer suddenly shifted the centre.
Talking to Newsmen, Md Shahinuzzaman, upazila nirbahi officer, Abhaynagar told that the decision of shifting the sub center was taken as the distance of the sub centre was about three kilometres off the main centre. But locals told that the distance is less than one kilometre.
The UNO further said the examinees were easily accommodated at the main centre and extended centre for which the sub centre was shifted.
