The multiple choice questions of Bangla second paper of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination was leaked before 45 minutes of the examination beginning on Saturday.
The questions went viral on the social media sites, particularly on the facebook.

After the examination, the leaked question papers

 matched with the original ones.
A Facebook group claiming to have accurate question papers for the examination began advertising last Thursday, soon after the first paper.
Leaks of the ‘Kha’ question set went viral on Facebook around 9:15am on Saturday, before the start of the examination at 10am. A Facebook account under the name ‘Himur Chhaya’ sent images of the ‘Kha’ question set over Facebook Messenger at 9:16am.
Parents of several examinees in Dhaka said that they had found multiple choice questions posted on several social media sites, including Facebook and all of those questions matched with the leaked ones.
Dhaka Education Board Secretary and Acting Chairman Shahedul Khabir Chowdhury said that they have got the allegation and would delve into it.
Meanwhile, Guardians of many SSC examinees on Thursday alleged that multiple choice questions of the Bangla first paper examination, held on the day, were also leaked about half an hour ahead of starting of the examination.
The first test of this year’s SSC examinations began at 10:00am.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Thursday morning and Dhaka Education Board Secretary and Acting Chairman Shahedul Khabir Chowdhury and Inter-education Boards Controller of Examinations Convener Tapan Kumar Sarkar in the afternoon denied the allegation of question leak.
The allegation surfaced when the education ministry chalked out a series of arrangements to prevent question leak, which included closure of coaching centres during exams and students taking seats 30 minutes ahead of starting of exams and enhanced monitoring while opening question packet.
Earlier, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said, “I am very desperate, very aggressive on this (question paper) issue,” he said, touting the government’s sincerity. “No one attempting to leak questions will be spared. I cannot even imagine what should be done, but it will be harsh.”
