Sri Lankan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Yasoja Gunasekera on Thursday called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique at his official residential on the campus.
During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest of the two countries specially the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programmes by DU and higher educational institutions in Sri Lanka.
The envoy sought the Vice-Chancellor’s cooperation to increase seats for Sri Lankan students at the Bangladesh’s premier university.
