Sri Lanka won the ICC World Twenty20 title beating India by 6 wickets in the all-Asian final in Dhaka on Sunday. Batting first, India scored 130 for 4 wickets in 20 overs at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. In replay, Sri Lanka surpassed the target in 17.5 overs with 6 wickets in hand. Sri Lankan experienced batsman Kumar Sangakkara hit an unbeaten half-century to lead his country to the easy win. Sangakkara scored 52 runs off 35 balls with 6 fours and 1 six. Mahela Jayawardene added 24, Thisara Perera 21* and TM Dilshan. Earlier, Kohli smashed 77 runs off 58 balls with 5 fours and 4 sixes after Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bowl first in a wet outfield. Rohit Sharma scored 29 runs off 29 runs with 3 fours.
