Bangladesh Speaker and CPA Chairperson Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury has urged China to play a significant role in Bangladesh’s industrialisation.
Dr Sharmin, now in China, made the call when she met Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao on Friday, said a handout here on Saturday.
She hoped that China will continue its support to Bangladesh’s economic development.
The Chinese Vice President assured the Speaker of their continuous support for the socioeconomic development of Bangladesh saying China is providing support for various sectors of Bangladesh, including education, agriculture, health and science.
