BSS, Dhaka :
Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, also the Chairperson of executive committee of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA), left Dhaka for China on Thursday morning.
Dr Chaudhury will join the 3rd China-South Asia Exposition and 23rd China Kunming Import and Export Commodities Fair in Yunnan province of China.
Chinese ambassador to Bangladesh Ma Mingqiang, senior secretary of the Jatiya Sangsad secretariat Md Ashraful Maqbul and other high officials were present at the airport to see the Speaker off.
The Speaker is scheduled to return on June 14.
