Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury on Sunday attended an iftar party as the chief guest hosted by Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in city’s Rajarbagh Police Lines area. Before the iftar, a special munajat was offered seeking divine blessings for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the nation. DMP Commissioner Md Asaduzzaman Mia presided over the iftar party. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Planning Minister MA Mannan, Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzaque, Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Agriculture Begum Matia Chowdhury, AL Advisory Council member Amir Hossen Amu, Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen, Housing and Public Works Minister SM Rezaul Kairm, Prime Minister’s Political Advisor HT Imam, Chief Election Commissioner and other high officials joined the iftar party.
