A three-member delegation led by Professor Santiago Fernandez Mosquera of the University of Santiago De Compostela, Spain paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman at the latter’s office on Monday.
Other members of the delegation were Prof Amparo Porta Rivas and Prof Victoria Vazquez.
During the meeting, they stressed the need for strengthening ongoing joint collaborative academic, research and cultural exchange programmes being conducted by the DU and the University of Santiago De Compostela, Spain.
