A four-member Spanish delegation, led by Santiago Fernandez Mosquera of University of Santiago of Compostela, Spain, called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique at his office on Monday.
The other members of the delegation were Coordinator of Inditex Chair of Spanish Language and Culture at University of Dhaka Amparo Porta Rivas, Carlos Pineiro Aneiros of Corporate Social Responsibility of Inditex, Spain and Mauro Fernandez Rodiguez, Director of the Centre of Language of the University of Coruna, Spain.
Director of Modern Language Institute of DU Sultan Ahmad and Support Cluster Director in Bangladesh of Inditex Rezaul Karim Bhuiyan were also present on the occasion.
During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest specially about Spanish Language learning situation in DU and employment opportunities at home and abroad.
Prof Arefin thanked the Spanish delegation for their visit to DU.
