Syed Nurul Islam BPM , PPM , Police Super , Mymensingh and Mamun-Or-Rashid PPM , Officer-In-Charge of Bhaluka Model Thana have been awarded by the Police Department for their successful operation in militants’ den recently.
IGP Shahidul Haq at a ceremony at the Police Headquarters on Wednesday handed over the cheque for Tk 4 lakh to them.
They led a an operation on militants den at Kashor Village in Bhaluka Upazila on August 27 in which one militant was killed. Police recovered one grenade , three bombs and other equipment from that house. The operation has been apprised by the media and local people .
