Two times champions Prime Bank South Zone will start their campaign to regain the prestigious trophy through one of the two opening matches of the four-day 6th Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) at BKSP ground in Savar today (Tuesday).
Quazi Nurul Hasan Sohan will lead the bankers’ team while national opener Soumya Sarkar will assist him as the vice-captain.
Prime Bank team made their practice session at BKSP on Monday with the participation of Sohan and Soumya.
In the other match of the opening fixture, BCB team will face Walton Central Zone at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
In the 2nd round matches billed for January 15-18, BCB team will face Islami Bank East Zone at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium while Prime Bank North Zone will encounter Walton Central Zone at BKSP ground in Savar.
In the 3rd round matches scheduled for January 21-24, BCB team will meet Prime Bank North Zone at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium while Islami Bank East Bank will play Walton Central Zone at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
