South Zone, Central Zone match ends in a draw in BCL

The four-day Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) match between South Zone and Central Zone come to an expected end when the match settled for a draw held on Tuesday at Khan Shaheb Oslam Ali Stadium in Fatullah.
Chasing a winning target of 279 runs set by South Zone, Central Zone resumed their second innings on the fourth day (Tuesday) with overnight score at 7 for I and scored 190 for 5 at stumps.
Shuvagata Hom continued his prolific form as he played a brilliant 52 runs off 124 balls laced with six boundaries while overnight batsman Abdul Mazid added 36.
Taibur Rahman and Marshall Ayub were remained unbeaten at 39 and 17 runs respectively.
Rusel Hossain and Sohag Gazi shared two wickets each conceding 41 and 54 runs respectively. Shuvagata Hom was named the player of the match for his impressive performance in the match.
