South Korean company to invest $ 74 lakh in Karnaphuli EPZ

South Korean company named M/s. Kamka Outdoor Limited (KOL) will investment in Karnaphuli Export Processing Zone in Chittagong amouting to US dollar 74 lakh for establishment of camping materials with 6375 square meters area.
The cent percent foreign owned company factory will produce 20 lakh pieces of tent, sleeping bag, camping chair and different kinds of camping bags annually.
This factory will create job opportunities of 1100 Bangaldeshiworkers.In this connection an agreement was signed on Thursday between BEPZA and the Kamka Outdoor Limited at Bepza headoffice in Dhaka, KEPZ sources said.
Member(Investment) of BEPZA Syed Nurul Islam and the Managing DirectorKOL Mr. KimBion Jun signed the deal on respective sides. On behalf of BEPZA Executve Chairman Major General Md. Habibur Rahman Khan, Member (Engr) Khondakar Akhteruzzaman, Member (Financ) MahbuburRahman, Secretary Md.Showkat Nabi, General Manager(PR) Nazma Binte Alamgir and GM (Enterprises) Nurul Hoque were present in the signing ceremony, sources said.
