U-19 Cricket: South Africa beat Bangladesh by 7 wickets

Hosts South Africa Under-19 Cricket team smartly came back to the seven-match Youth ODI series 1-2 beating touring Bangladesh Under-19 side by seven wickets in the 3rd match at City Oval in Pietermaritzburg on Friday.
Visiting Bangladesh earlier took a 2-0 lead in the seven-match series beating hosts South Africa Under-19 side by eight wickets in the first match and by 29 runs in a reduced 30-over-a-side 2nd match at Kingsmead in Durban.
Sent in to bat first in the day’s match, Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket team were all out for 165 runs in 49.2 overs with lower order Mosabbek Hossain contributing the team highest 29 runs off 42 balls featuring three boundaries as a batsman.
Besides, Mohammad Saifuddin (25), Zakir Hossain (18), Nazmul Hossain Shanta (18), Pinak Ghosh (14) and Saleh Ahmed (13) were other major contributors for Bangladesh reaching the double figures.
Interestingly, the team highest 31 runs came as extra.
D Foxcroft grabbed three wickets for 31 runs while PWA Mulder and C Mckenn took two wickets each conceding 16 and 23 runs respectively.
