The name of Sonia was a wonder in the first music reality show of the country titled Close Up 1- Tomakey Khunjchhey Bangladesh. Though she secured the fourth position in the grand finale but her songs impressed the music-lovers. Besides rendering song, she also established herself as a fashion designer. Once number of stage shows of Sonia was the highest position. Then she went to Canada. In 2009, she started her conjugal life with Polash. She has been passing happy life with her two daughters now. After four years, on December 9, she returned to Bangladesh. On Tuesday, she went to her parents in Khulna. This time she will stay in country for two months.
Sonia said, “In fact, after 2015, I stopped rendering song. As I have returned to country after long time if I get any favourable one then I will render the song. But I have no interest to perform in any live show in TV channel or to take part in recording. Now I want to lend my voice only for music, nothing else. When I was engaged with music I never thought I would quit music one day. But I quit music. Now I am passing happy life with my husband and two daughters. Everybody pray for us.”
