Babli Akter is a promising singer of present generation who received primary training in music from her father Master Babu of Gazipur. To keep in mind her father’s ideology, Babli has established herself as a singer. She has already released several numbers of her original songs. For the first time, she released folk based original song titled Shyam Kalia, which was composed by Anik Shahan.
While talking about the song Babli said, “During the lockdown, there was discussion about singers’ original songs. I concentrated myself on my original song during that time. Several numbers of my original songs were released on YouTube channels. Shyam Kalia is my first folk based original song. I believe listeners will enjoy the song. After releasing the song, I am getting positive response for the song. My mother and two brothers also gave me support for my career in music. My daughter Maliha is my all now. I am regular in stage shows. Though I received training from my father in music but later I also received lessons from Md Dulal.”
Tomai Ami bhalobasi was Babli’s first original song where Kazi Shuvo was her co-singer. Later, she lent her voice for Protik Hasan composed song Tor Namey Golpo, cover song Shyamre Tomar Sone, etc.
