UNB, Bhola :
A Bhola court on Thursday sentenced a man to death for killing his father in Charananda village of Bhola Sadar Upazila in 2017.
The convict is Abu Sayed , son of Abdul Munaf Sajid.
Bhola District and Sessions Judge ABM Mahamudul Haque pronounced the verdict in presence of the convict on the dock.
The court also fined the convict Tk 20,000, in default, to suffer one year jail.
According to the case statement, Said hit his father on the head with an iron rod during a family feud on August 23, 2017, leaving him severely injured.
Later, Abdul Munaf died on the way to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
