Chattogram Bureau :
In observance of the World Cancer Day some 145 women received free breast cancer checkup under the auspices of Chattogram Medical College (CMCH)Radiotheraphy Department , breast cancer scanning program underwent at Patiya on Monday.
Out of these women, complications detected in 22 women , sources said.
Convener of the program and Resident surgeon of CMCH Radiotheraphy Department Dr. Ali Asghar Chowdhury. He said the complicated women have been asked to contact the CMCH immediately.
On this occasion, a rally followed by discussion meeting was brought out to mark the day. Among others, BMA Chattogram Unit President Dr . Mujibul Hoque Khan, General Secretary Faisal Iqbal, Head of Hematology deptt of CMCH Dr. Golam Rabbani, head of Radiotheraphy deptt of CMCH Dr. Sajjad Md. Yousuf were present on the occasion.
