Bangladesh Football team will play two FIFA friendly matches against Nepal on November 13 and November 17 at the Bangabandu National Stadium.
Earlier, Bangladesh Football team tasted a 0-2 goals defeat to Nepal Football team in SAFF Championship two years ago. Last year Bangladesh lost to Nepal by a solitary goal in SA Games.
Though Bangladesh played comparatively better than Nepal but Bangladesh could not win as they made some mistakes in those matches. Player of Bangladesh Football team Sohel Rana did not forget those mistakes. He hopes his teammates will came out from those mistakes and performed a better brand of football against Nepal. Bangladesh team took part in their practice sessions at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur area on Tuesday. Sohel Rana also participated in the training programme. Sohel Rana said, ” If we compare between Bangladesh Football team and Nepal Football team, we shall find out that our team are better than Nepal. We tasted defeat for some silly mistakes. We are trying to come out from those mistakes to win the matches against Nepal. We are taking preparation for that target.”
He said, ” As a team Nepal are a good out-fit. We have known about their weak points. We are trying hard to regain our fitness. If we get our fitness we shall gain a good result.”
He also said, ” We were out of field for a long time due to coronavirus outbreak. So, we are working hard at the gymnasium and the field for fitness.”
