A half slaughtered dead body which tendons of wrists and legs were cut was recovered by the police from a canal of village Kharaikhali within Panchakaran Union under Morrelganj Upazila in Bagerhat district on Friday in the morning. The dead body was identified as Riad (35), a local Awami League worker and son of one Siddiq Sahikh of Panchakaran village. Abdur Razzaq Majumdar, Chairman of Panchakaran Union disclosed, Raid had been missing since Wednesday in the after noon.
