Football unfriendly BFF

With the end of the Independence Cup Football tournament in the first week of the current month, the Bangladesh Football Federation has begun to hibernate except that it has announced a 23-member national football team for AFC Play-off match against Tajikistan to be held on June 2 and 6. The winners will sail into the final round of the Asia Cup Football 2019 involving 24 nations. Twelve nations namely Australia, China, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Syria, Thailand, Qatar, the UAE and Uzbekistan have already qualified.
But what a pity is that the BFF officials appear to have been giving less importance to the play-off match unlike the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The BCB officials, every oner will agree, are very sincere and energetic about the future of cricket in the country. Installation of the new committee through election does not qualify advancement of the standard of football in the country. What we think is that we should forget the past wounds to surge ahead and for that we need strong leadership in the BFF Bhavan.

False pride!

It has been a fashion on the part of their habits regardless of their profession to make comments about Islam and the Prophet Muhammad (SM). Not only that, making of chaos by creating comments, they pride themselves and say: It is part of our free thinking.
Contrarily, whenever there is protest and procession in defence of truth and justice, the patrons of the ignorants try to label the processions of truth as acts of fanatics.
It has been said in the Holy Quran in two verses that creation of anarchy is worse than slaughter. We, therefore, feel that the government must proclaim an ordinance banning all kinds of provocative remarks, with provision of severe/appropriate punishment for such violation.
In this regard, we shall request the TV owners to take utmost care about selecting the subject matters of the talk-shows, and choosing the discussants.
