Unidentified assailants have killed a self-styled ‘Pir’ and his female house help in Dinajpur.
Bochaganj Police Station OC Habibul Islam Prodhan told bdnews24.com that police went to the area on Monday night after being informed about the murders.
The self-styled ‘Pir’, Farhad Hossain Chowdhury, is a former president of the BNP’s Dinajpur Municipality unit.
The police official could not name the house help immediately.
“We have come to the scene after being informed by the locals. We are yet to ascertain when the murders took place and who carried those,” the OC told bdnews24.com over phone.
