Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) organized “Half-Yearly Business Conference-2018” at Le Meridien Dhaka on Saturday, said a press release. Managing Director and CEO Farman R Chowdhury presided over the inaugural ceremony of the conference.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Akkas Uddin Mollah was present as Chief Guest.
Bangladesh is developing day by day and the country is contributing to the world economy. Similarly, he also urged all the branch managers of the Bank to reduce Classified Loans and to increase Export business. The bank is subsequently investing in new productive and rising sectors of the country that are creating new employment, he stated in his speech.
The Managing Director of the Bank Farman R Chowdhury discussed on the business performance of the last six months of the current year and urged to take necessary strategy and action plan to achieve the business target for the remaining time of the year.
Among others, the Vice-Chairmen of the Board, Mohammed Golam Quddus and Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, Directors Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Mohiuddin Ahmed, Engineer Md. Towhidur Rahman, Md.
