Managers’ Conference-2015 of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) was held Saturday to adopt new strategies for booming business.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank A K Azad was present as the chief gust at the opening ceremony held at a city hotel with its Managing Director Farman R Chowdhury in the chair.
The meeting evaluated the performance of the last year and adopted necessary strategies and action plan to achieve the target for the remaining time of the year.
Besides, 16 Branch Managers are given Crest and 28 others are given Letter of Appreciation for their outstanding performance in the previous year, said a SJIBL press release today.
Speaking on the occasion, A K Azad said, political turmoil has ransacked the entire business environment of the country inception of the New Year. “It is impossible to recover these lose that has been occurred due to political unrest. . .Irregularities and Default Loans are the main impediment of the economic growth of the country,” he added.
Azad urged to the bankers to work with honesty and integrity to make their business investment safe.
Executives and Head of different Divisional Head of the Head Office and Branch Managers of 93 branches were also present on the occasion.
