Detective branch of Barishal Metropolitan Police held three on early Friday for peddling drugs in the city.
Sub Inspector Delwar Hossain of DB BMP, said arrestees were sent to jail after lodging cases with Kotwali Police Station on Friday afternoon.
Among the arrestees Tarikul Islam, 23, of Baufal Patuakhali and Raihan Hossain Rifat, 22, of Gorosthan Road area of the city, were arrested from room no.412 of residential hostel Athena at Katpatty Road area of the city and six pieces of Yaba were recovered from their possession.
In another drive Ariful Islam Haoladar, 20, of Charrer Bari area of the city, was arrested from Katpatty Road with 100 pieces of Yaba tablets.
Besides DB Police team of BMP operating drive in Oxford Mission Road Area of the city arrested Abu Sayed Raihan, 24, of Shaitpaikka Jhalakathi, Jubeyer Ahmed Ananda,23, of Gournadi Barishal, and Saiful Islam Sabbir,22,of Monsur Quarter area of the city and 50 pieces of Yaba were recovered from their possession.
