Walton, one of the leading electronics goods manufacturers in the country, is offering six months replacement guarantee for its air conditioner (AC) and three-year service warranty, says a press release.
Emdadul Haque Sarkar, executive director and head of marketing of Walton, said the demands for Walton brand’s AC increased abruptly across the country following the scorching summer heat in the last year. Sarker also hoped that this year Walton would see a growth in sells of ACs with the new warranty offer this Summer.
Uday Hakim, operative director of Walton, claimed that the price of Walton brand’s AC is 60 per cent lower than other brands’ AC.
Md Moeenul Haque, executive director (R&D department) of Walton, said the ‘Golden Fin’ technology contains an anti-corrosive and rust protective hydrophilic coating on the surface of the heat exchanger of condenser.
The annual demands of AC in Bangladesh is nearly 1.5 lakh pieces whereas the annual production capacity of AC at Walton Hi-Tech Industries in Gazipur is about 3 lakh, almost double of the prevailing local demands, the statement added.
