Detective Branch (DB) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested six hijackers from Jamburi filed area under Double Mooring thana early on Monday.
The arrestee were identified as Mizanur Rahma, 22, Delower Hossain, 34, M Helal, 25, M Rbin, 19, M Ali, 28 and M Belal, 22.
M Kamruzzaman, Inspector of DB police said they all are fugitive accused of several cases and also listed criminal of police.
Police also recover three knifes, one Chapati and a pistol during their drive, he added.
Inspector also said that they used to hijack from CNG run auto rickshaw and motor cycle in free and quite rood in the city
