MP from Sirajganj-6 constituency and freedom fighter Hasibur Rahman Swapan died of coronavirus early Thursday. He breathed his last around 4:00 am while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Turkey. He was 66.
The MP’s personal assistant of Ashikur Rahman Dinar, also the convener of Shahjadpur Upazila Juba League, confirmed the matter.
