Siddikur with Japanese actress Mae in Boishakhi Mela

Viewers’ choice popular actor Siddikur is not only engaged with acting now but also giving direction. Since 2006 he has made 30 telefilms till now. On the occasion of coming Pahela Boishakh, he has made a special play Boishakhi Mela for satellite channel, Boishakhi TV. Specialty of this telefilm is that a Japanese actress Mae acted with Siddikur.
While visiting Modern Language Institute of University of Dhaka Mae has learnt Bangla language. Mae was known to Siddik for many days. He also informed that Mae can act well. So he has made the play to cast her. Shooting of the play was wrapped up on Saturday at a Boishakhi fair held at Tongi.
While talking about to work with Mae in this play Siddikur told this correspondent, “Story of the play like that it was necessary to cast Mae. Though she is Japanese but Mae can speak Bangla well. She has acted well and I am satisfied with her performance. I believe viewers will enjoy the play.”
Mae shared her feelings by this way, “Story of the play revolves with me. I was hailed from Japan but I started to love Bangla and Bangladeshi culture and heritage. I really enjoy performing in this play wearing saree in Boishakhi fair.”
It is mentioned that besides acting in 2006 Siddikur first made a play titled Hothat Themey Jawa Ek Fota Brishti. Hamba, Shish, Bujheyna Se Bujhena, Swapner Nayok, Daat, etc are his directed mentionable works.
Now Siddikur is acting in several numbers of serials like Rosher Hari, Chhayabibi, Gaye Manena Apni Morol, Shalish Maney Talgachh Aamar, Brindabon, Comedy 420 and Bachelor.Com.
Siddikur acted only movie was Shahin Kobir Tutul’s Eito Bhalobasha.
