Siddikur Rahman clinches Summit Open Golf title

Country’s celebrated golfer Siddikur Rahman clinched the 5th Summit Open Golf title scoring total (70+65+71) 206 with 10 under par at the Kurmitola Golf Course here on Wednesday.
Two international professional golf winner Siddikur, who was in the joint 4th on the first day, made a good comeback on the 2nd day to clinch the top slot scoring (70+65) 135 with nine under par and assured the title making 71 with one under par on the 3rd and final day (Wednesday).
Dulal Hossain, who was in the 2nd slot scoring (74+66) 140 with four under par on the 2nd day (Tuesday), made 68 with four under par on the final day to finish runner-up scoring total (74+66+68) 208 with eight under par.
Mohammad Sayum, who was in the joint 4th position on the 2nd day (Tuesday) scoring (69+74) 143 with one under par, displayed a brilliant performance on the final day scoring 67 with five under par to finish overall 3rd scoring total (69+74+67) 210 with six under par.
Champions Siddikur Rahman received Tk 130,000, runner-up Dulal Hossain got Tk 89,600 while 3rd finisher Mohammad Sayum is richer with Tk 63,000 as prize money.
