Siddikur makes cut in Taiwan Masters

Bangladesh’s prominent golfer Siddikur Rahman stayed in the race of the $800,000 Mercuries Taiwan Masters despite played a one-over-par in the 2nd round at the weather-disrupted Taiwan Golf and Country Club on Friday.
Siddikur aggregated even-par 144, taking seven shots more than the joint clubhouse leaders Gavin Green of Malaysia and Juvic Pagunsan of the Philippines.
Siddikur birdied one against two bogies, all in the first 9 of the 2nd round. He got his only birdie in the 5th holes before downed for bogies in the 7th and 8th holes.
The two-time Asian Tour winner, moved up to top-19 from joint 23rd spot with one-over-par 72 in the 2nd round after starting the tournament with one-under-par 71 on Thursday.
Siddikur shared the 19th place with 12 other golfers while 51 golfers made their cuts in the prestigious tournament of the Asian Tour.
