The Ministry of Public Administration has banned officials and employees coming to the office from the ‘Red Zone’ or highly Covid-19 infected areas.
To avoid the risk of corona, one-fourth of officers and employees work directly in the office, 25 percent online from home. The remaining 50 percent will work in the next step. The government office is working on this strategy to avoid the risk of corona and handle the situation.

Hossain told the media on Wednesday that he had told the employees not to come to office from risky areas. If you get out of that place, you will be infected. We are working with extra caution.
The government has decided to keep the office open from May 31 to June 15 after a 66-day general holidays. The offices were opened following some restrictions and hygiene rules. However, the government is not taking everyone to the office right now as an extra precaution, even if the office is opened. 25 percent are working in the office, 25 percent are working online and mobile from home. The remaining 50 percent has been reserved. Because, in the meantime, hundreds of people have been affected by Covid-19 in Public Administration Ministry office.
State Minister for Public Administration Md. Farhad Hossain said, “We have no work pending.” At the same times, maximum 25 percent will come to the office. They are connected online-telephone. I will continue to work like this.

The state minister said that work is going on in the secretariat, adding that disciplines need to be made a habit. We have to keep the economy going, we have to work. ‘We are working to make proper use of the digital platform that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has created. Everything is going on. ‘
The state minister said, “Currently we are branding Dhaka, Chattogram, Narayanganj and Gazipur as red zone.” The rate of infection is more or less here. The red zone will also be divided into smaller areas. Otherwise the activities will stop.
The state minister said officials have been asked to work online so that the coroner’s red zone does not have an office, mapping is being done. There will be red, yellow and green zones. There will be daily data.
According to the Ministry of Public Administration, the Department of Information and Communication Technology has submitted a map mapping where and how many people are affected. The map will also change with the situation every day. Different areas of the map will be red, yellow and green depending on the affected situation. The software is ready. The implementation of this decision will start in two-three days.
The Public Administration’s directive on opening limited offices from June 31 to 15 states that all government / semi-government / autonomous and private offices will remain open under their own management. At-risk individuals, sick employees and conceived women should refrain from attending the workplace.
Asked if the leave could be extended, Farhad Hossain said, “We have given it for 15 days.” Today is the fourth day. The decision will be seen in a few more days. ‘But we have to continue like this. The environment must be understood. We are also looking at bus complaints. So that everyone understands that family members can be infected if they go out unintentionally. So they should save themselves. ‘
Office hours have also been relaxed for government employees.
The Ministry of Public Administration said in a directive on Tuesday that if an officer could come to the office in the morning and finish work in two hours, he can leave earlier. He doesn’t have to wait for the office closure at 5 pm. If someone leaves the office, someone else can come in his place in that office.
Besides, a notification has been issued by forming a quick response team with the help of officers and employees. If any officer or employee of the public administration is affected by corona, the team will contact him or his family and provide necessary assistance in all matters including necessary medicines and treatment.
