Noted Nazrul Sangeet singer Shusmita Anis launched a music video album titled Esho Hey Sajal Shyam Ghono Deya in celebration of the 117th birth anniversary of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.
A collection of six music videos (DVD) is being released both in Bangladesh and India as a tribute to Nazrul Sangeet legend Feroza Begum.
The music video album will be available in Bangladesh and Kolkata by the first week of June. The DVD will be available in all Shwapno stores along with other music stores across Bangladesh.
Shusmita Anis has presented the first two copies of the album to the Executive Director of Nazrul Institute Ikram Ahmed and eminent Nazrul Sangeet musician Sudhin Das. The music video album (DVD) is released by New Music Paradigm Co.
Shusmita Anis is also participating in the Nazrul Jayanti celebration in Kolkata and Churulia, the birthplace of the great poet. She has already performed and will continue performing in various stage shows organised by the State Government of West Bengal and one of the oldest cultural organisations based in Kolkata, Agniveena. She will also be performing solo in live TV programme, Aaj Sokaler Amontroney of Tara Music on July 30, starting from 8:00am to 9:30am (BST).
Born in a musical family, Shusmita Anis is the niece and devoted disciple of the legendary Nazrul Sangeet singer Feroza Begum. She has specialized in Nazrul Sangeet and covers a wide range of musical genre with versatility and grandeur in her musical performances.
