Popular actress Sharmin Zoha Shoshee acted in viewers’ choice actor and director Salauddin Lavlu directed Eid play titled Sona Banu.
Shoshe finished shooting of the play on Saturday. She played the role of Zahanara in the play. This play was earlier scheduled to telecast in Eid-ul-Fitr but due Salauddin Lavlu’s interest it was re-shoot on Saturday. Lavlu has made the play to telecast on Channel i in Eid-ul-Azha.
While sharing her feelings to work in the play Shoshee told this correspondent, “I always enjoy to work under Lavlu Bhai’s direction. So, I get any offer to work under his direction I agree without any hesitation. I have full confidence on his direction. He is such a director by whom an actor can easily work comfortably. In his every play, there is scope to work. Therefore, there is a lot of scope to leran something to work under his direction. I am very much optimistic about my role in play Sona Banu.”
Meanwhile, from yesterday Shoshee has started to take part in shooting of Priyotomeshu under Manik’s direction. She will also work under some directors like Anjan Aich, Musafir Roni, Mizanur Rahman Labu, Shamim Zaman, Samrat and Shahadat Hossain Sujon’s plays and telefilms on the occasion of coming Eid.
Therefore, Shoshe is also working in Kaisar Ahmed’s serial Ayna, Debashish Barua Dip’s Bhalobasha Prem Noi and Sohel Arman’s Jol Rong now. Shoshee basically came into limelight to act in Suchonda’s movie Hazar Bochhor Dhorey in role of Tuni. Later she again became highlighted to play the role of Birshrestha Motiur Rahman’s wife Mili Rahman in Khizir Hayat Khan’s movie Astittey Aamar Desh.
