Earlier Azizul Hakim worked together with either Golam Farida Chhonda or Sharmin Zoha Shoshee separately in TV plays. For the first time they have worked together in a faction play titled Bhalobashai Jothestho Noi under the direction of Mamun Rashid. Mamun Rashid has also written story, script and dialogue of the play.
In the play, Azizul Hakim and Chhonda acted in role of husband-wife, while Shoshee acted in role of their daughter. Shooting of the play was done in different locations in the city’s Uttara area recently.
While talking about to work in the play Azizul Hakim said, “I know that it was first work by Mamun Rashid. Specially story of the play has attracted me to work in it. In the meantime, I was happy to get Chhonda and Shoshee as my co-actresses. Chhonda is such a talented actress who has an ability to blend with her role easily. There is lacking of such type of actress like Chhonda in our drama industry. Therefore, Shoshee is outstanding performer in case of natural acting.”
Chhonda shared her feelings by this way, “Hakim Bhai is one of my favourite actors. In many plays, I have acted in role of his wife. He is really a nice person. Viewers will get exceptionality about our performances in this play. On the other hand, Shoshee is a cooperative actress.”
“Among the actors, I always get the affection like father from Azizul Hakim. He can act after becoming friend while taking part in shooting. In the meantime, Chhonda Apu is also my favourite actress. We have tried our level best to express our roles in the play,” said Shoshee while sharing her feelings about Bhalobashai Jothestho Noi, which will be telecast in any satellite channel soon.
It may be mentioned that as pair, Azizul Hakim and Chhonda first acted together in Ananta Hira’s a play titled Bhubon Dangar Math-e in 2000. This play was telecast on Bangladesh Television. Later they had worked together in many plays. They last acted together in a play titled Jibon-er Oli Goli, which is waiting to release soon.
Recently Azizul Hakim’s directed a drama serial titled Nij Grihey Porobashi has been finished to telecast on Banglavision. Now his acted two serials – Cholo Hariye Jai and Sangsar Simantey – are being aired in two satellite channels now.
