Short film ‘The Revelation’ gets award in Pink City International Short-film Festival

The short film ‘The Revelation’ has won the Youth Choice Award in the 6th Pink City International Short-film Festival held in Jaipur, India. Country’s independent filmmaker Faridul Ahasan Shourav directed the flim.
 The film bagged the award along with fifteen other films, that were awarded at the prize giving ceremony of the festival on September 25.
The festival was held from September 1 to September 15. The films were screened at many educational institutions along with the festival venue.
The Revelation, a 10-minute-long short film, revolves around the psychological analysis of a young artist.
The film was shot at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Fayez Art Studio, Uttara and Moderna Museet Maine Museum in Sweden. It is based on a short story written by Satyajit Ray.
The short film has already been screened in 14 film festivals held in seven countries. Safwat Tasnia Priyanka has played the lead role in the film.
It was screened in China Short-Film Festival; Cefalu Film Festival in Italy, NPS International Children Film Festival is Assam of India, Cardiff International Film Festival in Africa, International Children’s Festival in Nigeria, Global Youth Film Festival, 11th International Children’s Film Festival in Bangladesh and others.
