Shormymala in new serial

Sheikh Arif Bulbon :After getting National Film Award to act in Gazi Rakayet’s movie Mrittikamaya promising actress Shormymala has become busy with her new works. Already she has been acting in Farid’s directed a new drama serial titled Pagla Hawar Din, which story was written by Shubhashis Sinha, for NTV. She is playing in role of Shomi in this serial. While talking about her feelings to work in the serial Shormymala told this correspondent, “Now I am trying to attach with acting in several good works. From that point of view serial Pagla Hawar Din is a nice work. My roll is very challenging. I believe after airing the serial viewers will show their keen interests to watch it.”Shormymala informed that her acted two movies – Jalal-er Golpo, directed by Abu Shahed Emon, and Nodijon, directed by Shahneoaj Cacoly, are waiting to release this year.It may be mentioned that Shormymala’s acted first movie was Goutam Ghosh’s Moner Manush. Therefore, she has been acting in Afsana Mimi’s directed daily soap Shatti Tarar Timir, which is being telecasted on ATN Bangla now. Recently Shormymala also acted in a river based documentary titled Beautiful Bangladesh under the direction of Gias Uddin Selim. Shormymala wants to keep herself busy only with acting. She is also engaged with a newly launched restaurant named Hensel at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. Earlier she had fascination with sports. But when she got admitted to Prachyanat Acting School Shormy became inspired about acting to see the performance of Azad Abul Kalam. She realised that acting is the key work in her life. As a result, after one month she took admission into theatre troupe, Palakar. From that time to till now she has been attached with Palakar. She has acted in 10 plays till now under the banner of Palakar, Shormymala mentioned. In TV play, she debuted her career by Aminur Rahman Mukul’s directed a play Bokul Phul. “Later I have been acting in more plays that is not,” Shormymala said. Shormymala’s acted first TV serial was Golam Sohrab Dodul’s directed Shatkahon.
