On the occasion of upcoming Pohela Boishakh, popular folk based singer Shondipon’s seventh solo album titled Bondhu Porobashi has been released under the banner of Agniveena, a sister concern of G-Series, at a function held at a city restaurant recently.
Noted singers Subir Nandi, Rashed Uddin Topu, Sumon Kollyan, Basudeb, Sumon Kumar Saha, Proprietor of Agniveena Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan Khaled, among others, were present at the album launching ceremony.
A total of eight tracks in the album. Kaustav Sen Barat of India coordinated music of the album. This album, sponsored by Pepsi, has been dedicated to local folk lyricist of Patiya upazila of Chittagong Abdul Gafur Hali.
It may be mentioned that Shondipon’s first solo album titled Sona Bondhu was released in 2004.
