Popular TV actress Richi Solaiman came to Bangladesh from USA along with her two children on June 26. According to her confirmation to noted director Chayanika Chowdhury Richi gave time her time to take part in shooting on last Monday and Tuesday. She has finished shooting of play Swapnogulo Tomar Khonjey, scripted by Faria Hossain. Shojol acted with Richi as her co-actor. After a break of three years, Shojol acted with Richi in any play.
While talking in this regard Shojol told this correspondent, “It is not a traditional story based play. It revolves with the returning of Richi in the country. I have liked its story. Chayanikadi has made it cordially. It is doubt about Richi’s performance. I always enjoy working with her. She is very sincere actress. During shooting a plastic snake was provided which later became funny moments for us.”
Richi shared her feelings by this way, “I told Didi that after returning country I would act in her work first. Under her direction I acted in many plays. I never felt any pressure while working under her direction because she always gives me comfort during shooting. I believe viewers will find me in new way in this play.”
Chayanika Chowdhury informed that this play will be aired in any satellite channel during Eid-ul-Azha.
It is noted that three years ago, Shojol last paired up with Richi in Goutam Koiree’s play Goponey.
