On the occasion of the birth centenary of eminent artist Patua Quamrul Hassan, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) paid tribute to him on the temporary altar on the premises of the National Art Gallery of BSA at 12 noon on December 2. BSA Secretary Md Asaduzzaman, Director of Fine Arts Department of BSA artist Mini Karim, officials of the Academy, among others, were present on the occasion. Earlier, officials and employees of the BSA led by Director of Fine Arts Department Mini Karim paid tribute to Quamrul Hassan’s
graveyard, adjacent to the Faculty
of Fine Arts of University of Dhaka,
with floral wreaths.
