The angry residential students of Chittagong University who enforced a siege program since October 09, postponed it ahead of the admission test, which is scheduled to be held from Monday, says a press release.
The agitators also mentioned in the press release that the program had been postponed for accelerating the university’s usual activities during the admission test in which over one lakh 80 thousand admission seekers will come to the university. Centering student’s security and getting assurance of opening the halls from the university authority, the siege
programme has been postponed, the press release said.
It is mentionable that Chhatra Shibir under the banner of Sacheton Chhatra Samaj has been continuing demonstration from August 30, demanding their return to three dormitories from where they were evicted after clash with Chhatra League.
