Late Ayub Bachchu composed tune of Agun-rendered popular song titled Aamar swapnogulo keno emon swapno hoi. Agun himself wrote lyrics of the song. Shewly Shila came into limelight to perform as model in the song of Agun. After this song, Shewly started to work as model and actress. She acted in films and TV plays. But she came into limelight to act in Hasan Jahangir’s serial Boira Poribar. As a part of its continuation, she got appreciation to act in many popular drama serials and faction plays like Hasan Jahangir’s Nondini, Ashraful Alam’s Poster, Syed Shakil’s Hawai Mithai, Fazlul Haque’s Sokal, Sushmoy Sumon’s Kamini, etc.
Shewly Shila started her career in showbiz with the hands of noted film actress Khaleda Akter Kalpana. She first acted in Ilias Kobra’s movie Bhaiya Number One. She got response from the viewers from her first acted movie. Later she acted in many movies including Onishchit Jatra, Power, Niswas Aamar Tumi and Bhalobeshey Morte Pari, Prem Koyedi, Shahin Sumon’s Ke Apon Ke Por, etc.
Shewly also got appreciation to perform as model in several numbers of TVCs. Now she is acting in Boishakhi TV’s ongoing serial Chapabaaj.
While talking about her acting career Shewly Shila said, “In fact, I came into acting from my passion. I am learning acting till now. I get the scope for learning many things about acting when I work with senior actors. I want to establish myself as a good actress because I feel comfortable to introduce myself as an actress.”
