Mithun scored a brace as Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra dumped host Sri Lanka Air Force Sporting Club by 5-0 goals in their second group A match of the AFC President’s
Cup Football held on Friday at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The winners led the first half by 2-0 goals.
Apart from Mithun’s two goals in the 33rd and 55th minutes, Shakil, Pascal and Sabuj netted one goal each for Sheikh Russel.
The professional league champions Sheikh Russel KC which placed in group A along with Sri Lanka Air Force SC, KRL Football Club of Pakistan and Ugyen Academy FC of Bhutan, will play their opening match against KRL Football Club on May 7.
Sheikh Russel will play their last group match Ugyen Academy FC of Bhutan on May 11 at the same venue.
