Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Limited and Dhaka Abahani Limited have targeted to be the champions of the ensuing JB Group Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football.
Coach of Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Limited AKM Maruful Haque said, ” We couldn’t earn good result in the Independence Cup and Federation Cup. We shall try to be champions in the BPL.”
He spoke at a press conference at the conference room of BFF House on Sunday. Senior Vice-President of Bangladesh Football Federation and Chairman of the Professional Football League Committee of BFF Abdus Salam Murshedy and Coaches and Captains of other three clubs of BPL spoke at the conference.
Captain of Sheikh Russel Atiqur Rahman Meshu said, ” We played for all the championship trophies. But we missed two trophies. We want to clinch the tile of the most important competition (BPL).”
Coach of Dhaka Abahani Limited George Kottan said, ” Four or Five teams have ability to clinch the championship title. We of course try to be champions in the BPL. We worked hard. Our team are better than that of last year.”
Captain of Dhaka Abahani Ariful Islam said, ” Our target is high. There is no fitness problem in our outfit. Our team are really well.”
Coach of Rahmatganj MFS Kamal Ahmed Babu said, ” Our preparation is good. We formed our team with local players. I hope we shall fight for the championship.”
Captain of Rahmatganj Shawkat Russel said, ” There is a little bit difference between a powerful team and underdog team. We shall try to fight for championship title.”
Coach of Uttar Baridhara Club Rashed Ahmed Pappu said, ” We have formed a good team. Our target is top six.”
Captain of Uttar Baridhara Sohel Rana said, ” Our collection is good. We shall try to do well.”
