Sheikh Kamal IT Centre works inaugurated in Ctg

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak has inaugurated the construction works of Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center at Chandgaon in the port city.
He laid the foundation stone of the 6-storied bldg having 7,000-sft IT training and incubation center on a 1.71-acre lands of the City Corporation in the Chandgaon area yesterday.
At this time, Deputy Minister of Education Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel, Member of Parliament Moslem Uddin Ahmed, CCC Administrator Khorshed Alam Sujan Project Director. Mostafa Kamal and other senior govt officials were present.
After inaugurating the construction work of Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center, Junaid Ahmed joined a rally organized at project area.
City Corporation has 11.55 acres land on BFIDC Road. A complete high-tech park will be built in the whole place by June 2021. To this end, a memorandum of understanding was signed on 11 March 2019 with the City Corporation and the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority. The Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center is being constructed .
In February 8, 2017, ECNEC approved the project to establish ‘Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center’ (Second Amendment). The construction of ‘Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center’ in Chatogram at a cost of Tk 468 million was finalized by ‘Hossain Construction Private Limited’..If the project is implemented, about 2,000 students of Chittagong will get free training in IT every year.
